Create a public page that lists all the volunteer roles for each week / month.

We currently use Google Docs to list a weekly schedule of who is on. It would be great if Service Builder could automatically generate a weekly and monthly calendar that shows the volunteers roles and who is filling them. This page could be public so that we could just link to it off our site or it could be private too, but this would take more time for people to log in and not everyone has an account.

Are you wanting something like this?
http://servicebuilder.net/print/schedule/1

Just replace the number 1 above with your church's ID number. I believe in your case, it's 1414:
http://servicebuilder.net/print/schedule/1414

You can use iframe code to insert this in your church's page easily.

Jason,

This is great! We are starting to use Time.ly for our calendar. Is there anyway that this data could get inputed into a calendar file that you can subscribe to?

Well, there is an ical feature for individuals to add calendar information for when they're scheduled:
http://servicebuilder.net/ical/1/1
The above link would be my personal ical link to subscribe to my calendar.

The above link SHOULD be the way to view a church's service info, but it is not currently working.

I've finished this feature now, so put your church ID in place of the number 1 below:

Jason, I just subscribed in Ical to this. I don't see a list of names in the calendar. The time is off for our service. Shows up at 9 a.m. instead of 10 a.m.

What do you mean by list of names-- you want the schedule to show up in your ical?

If so, that's on a different page -- go to the schedule page and select the calendar icon.

As for time being off, be sure that both time zones are correct: the one in ServiceBuilder, and the one in your calendar application.

If they're both right, then your times will transfer correctly. If they still don't seem right, tell me what time zone you're using, and I'll see if there's a problem with ServiceBuilder's time zone list.
