file locations

When I go to church services and events it allows me to download files and it places the files under services in my dropbox. I have to do this every time I add music to each service. When I looked in the folder I noticed that there are multiple copies in that folder since we sing the same songs repeatedly. In the dropbox folder there is a statement that says the users can go to the dropbox to open files that you can download there. It seems redundant to download the same files into more than one folder. It also uses up valuable space in the dropbox.
It is convenient for users to just go to church services and events and click the link that they need to go to. Is it possible to have an add file button that allows me to add a link to a file that is already in the dropbox so that users can just click on it just like the files that were downloaded to the services folder? This would work better than downloading the same files into dropbox. I could put all of my files in dropbox and just link to them. Or you could just add a button that allows me to add files that are already in the services folder. Either way would work for me.

Is it also possible to add dropbox folders? I would like to be able to see the services folder in the dropbox menu as well as other folders I make in dropbox.

Thanks

Hi Chris,

Yes, instead of uploading the songs in the services view, upload them for each song; then they will be available from both the listen page and the individual song pages.

Let me know if that's still not good enough.

That would seem to be a better way, I agree but is it possible to create links to the files in the actual church services area?

I assume you mean in the order of service / service rundown area?

Yes, I think I could do that-- however I am quite busy at the time... it might be a while until I get to it.

How urgent is this to you?

I certainly would like to start using it right away but it's not critical and it would be a good addition to your program. My choir and orchestra can work around it right now.

OK, I went ahead with it-- it's in the preview section, not live yet, but I'll try to put it live soon.
