Calendar not changing

Seem to have a problem with the calendar advancing forward/backward to other months. Appears to be stuck on July 2012, even though I change the month in the drop down menu.

Also, is there a way to just type in the day of unavailability rather than click on it? It wouldn't let me do that either.
